Learning brainstorming can be the tool you need to start using creative powers you never knew you had, powers that can be a tremendous help when it comes to dealing with all the hassles and problems life can throw at us. It doesn’t matter whether you are in a job or at home - this tool can help tremendously.

The fact is, we can’t escape those problems, and we also can’t escape the choices we have to make to solve those problems, as much as we would want to. And you know what - choices have a nasty habit of been made for you, whether you want them to be or not!

Oddly enough, choices have the “nasty” habit of sometimes turning out wrong. Yup, we can often make a bad judgment call. This is what it means to be human though so don’t put off making your decisions because of this. All that will happen is that the decision will be made for you regardless, but you will have no control over it. Not a good situation to be in!

But you know what? There is a solution and it’s called brainstorming. Brainstorming is a phrase that conjures up images of late night caffeine fueled sessions, but nothing could be further from the truth.

What brainstorming is is the easy procedure of marrying your logic to your creativity, to make them both much more powerful. I’m sure you’ve heard that most people use only a fraction of their available though potential? happily, brainstorming can maximizes that for you!

Brainstorming is also sometimes called lateral thinking because it teaches and allows you to move your thinking out of it’s normal groove, and into a new one. This is done in a very focused manner so that you can begin to generate creative ideas that are also useful ideas.

The process offers some very powerful benefits, such as;

* The ability to dig deep into your subconscious to mine ideas and other treasures you never knew you had

* Allowing your creativity the freedom to express itself and explore beyond the confines that it is normally kept in

* Start to find solutions to problems from places you never expected, as your brain becomes more elastic and adaptable

Once you master the art of brainstorming, you will find it helps you across all areas of your life. Whether you are at work, or are looking to solve a personal or family problem, or even if you are a student or teach students, the ability to solve problems creatively is highly prized and incredibly useful.

Basically, brainstorming is about creative solutions, and having the power to produce those solutions whenever you need them. Don’t you reckon that would be useful to many of us? Becoming a proven problem solver will open up dramatic new opportunities for you as you begin to harness your hidden creative powers.

This is the usual situation - you are in your work place and you mention an idea to your workmate, He adds to it and all of a sudden you are looking at your problem in a whole new way. That’s great, but imagine when you do it with a group, in the right atmosphere…

All your minds are spinning, your innovative thinking processes have been triggered and ideas are just flowing like water. There is a buzz and an excitement that can be very hard to match. You have just gotten onto what I call “The Ideas Superhighway” and the ride can be very exhilarating!

So remember, the next time you find yourself stuck for ideas, spinning in the same groove or just not even bothering to make a choice because you’re scared of making the wrong choice - why not try some brainstorming? You’ll be surprised at the treasure you have in you!
