Has this query ever crossed your mind? Why is it that women dump men? Time and time again you’ll hear a man make the comment that his girlfriend or wife just broke up with him. It’s puzzling, seeing as he treated her well and it seemed that he really worshipped her.

Most likely you’ve heard the phrase “Nice guys finish last”, right? In fact, that saying is somewhat true. Many women aren’t as self assured as they could be and any women who is a little insecure will sometimes wonder why a really great guy would want her. She is going to be concerned if you act head over heals in love.

Does every female have that view? Nope, of course not! Many women have the self assurance to know what they want in a man and they’ll expect to be treated well or they’ll get out of the relationship. But Many women subscribe to the “grass is always greener” mentality. The man of their dreams could be the next one they meet.

How should you respond when a woman unexpectedly calls off the relationship? You will not immediately contact her. It’s obvious she didn’t appreciate what she had at the time, so give her the opportunity to realize what she has lost.

Try not to act like you’re devastated, but instead get back out in the world. Go out with friends, go on dates if you like. Actually, dating is good because you just might find a woman out there who has the self assurance to appreciate what you offer.

What you really need to ask yourself is whether you want to be involved on that level with a person who is so insecure. Think about it? Is she really worth it? If you think she’s the perfect one for you, give her the time and space to catch up. It is never impossible to mend a relationship, as long as the trust remains.

It’s fairly likely that she’ll call you if you haven’t called her in awhile. Be friendly, but aloof. Don’t share much about your life. And don’t ask a lot about hers. And cut the call short. The idea is to give her time to realize that you ARE the man of her dreams.

In short, she needs to prove herself as an appropriate girlfriend or lover. Let HER be the one doing the chasing, not the opposite. If you finally catch her, be mysterious. Keep in mind, she may be uncertain how to respond to a decent guy, so don’t overwhelm her.
